Hi Folks, I just got a new camera so I now I can take some decent pictures. I am still getting used to the camera so bear with me but I wanted to show my recently almost completed Intermountain GE ES44AC. While an ok model there was a lot left to be desired. Just to name a few things that I have updated the model with:
Railflyer Model Prototypes GE Cut levers DW CPR Plow DW Trainline and Signal line hoses DW Spare knuckles Kato Sinclair antennas Kadee 58 couplers Due to poor quality control on Intermountain's part all the step reflectors were painted out and replaced with microscale step decals and many additional grabirons were added including the long hood behind cab and on nose door. 3rd MU receptacle added above anticlimber All detail painting added Extensive weathering with floquil and polly S paints and Bragdon Enterprises weathering powders.
Most dissapointing factor in the model was the fact that the large Canadian Pacific on the side of the long hood was almost a foot and a half too tall. Sigh.
As I fool around with my new camera I should be able to get some better pictures.
Stay tuned for several AC4400CW's and another ES44AC
