I started this model of a GP60 patched UP #2000 ex SSW #9696, you can see here from Railpictures: www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1591099For the model I started with an old Athearn blue box and added many details, starting with the DW super detailing set and many others.

Its looking good so far and your on the right path for a great looking model. I was just wanting to point out one thing I think can be improved on if I may. Look at how far back your a/c unit is.On the real engines with a/c the unit actually protrudes into the cab roof at 7 to 9 inches. So with that the unit has to sit closer to the front of the cab so it does not interfer with the cabinet doors on the back wall. If you can ,see if you can pop it off and sand the glue off the cab roof then reset with the front of the a/c unit just past the front of the side windows.I will include a link so you can see easier what i am talking about. Please I am not trying to down turn work so dont get me wrong but I am just trying to help you with the proper location of some of your parts so you will have the best looking model you can produce in the end.Mind you this is just a recommendation and you dont have to change a thing as this is your model.Just trying to help.Cant wait to see it completed. www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=242147

Anthony, I really apreciate your words. Let me say when I saw my pics posted here I asked me... mmmm, there is something that I donĀ“t like... was the AC unit so back. I saw many pics and found that what you posted, and inmediately back to the workbench for fix it. So, now is moved but not so much as I think should be. But anyway, looks better now. Sorry for the poor quality of the pic. Thanks so much again bud!!
