Hi Although I mainly build Alcos, I always wanted a CP Rail FP-9A as they have lots of individual personality. I started with an Intermountain unit already painted as CP 1411. This is one of 2 FP's on CP with added roof top cooling pipes. I added icicle breakers, avalanche lights, the cooling pipes, grab irons, twin sealed beam headlight and a few other parts. Just waiting for some airhorns to arrive and she's done. Cheers Steve Modelling NJ in NZ

Thanks for all the kind words. I have install the airhorns and I've got some MV lenses for the headlight. Then I can get back to my big MLW's. Cheers Steve

That's great. My father made an FP-9 about thirty years ago in the sixies paint scheme but it wasn't nearly as detailed as yours

What did you use as the basis of your model? Also, if you can take a couple of close-ups of the different details it would be appreciated!!!
