Looks good so far. There was an article in a Railmodel Journal some years back even before Details West came out with their detail kits on building one of these.

Great work so far - welcome to the DD. In addition to what antlorch mentioned, the CN lines SIG magazine had an article a couple of years ago on the CN SD70I's. I've also got one of these (same number) but it is horribly far down the list of things I want to get done. Maybe your progress will prompt me to put mine to the top of the list!

Nice start on that SD70I! Does anyone know if a manufacturer makes the correct SD70I's anticlimbers? Here's how it looks like : www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1932690It is not the same as on the GE's nor the older EMD's. It is similar to those on the SD75I's except that the ''ribs'' continue all the way around the anticlimbers.
