Thanks guys! I saw an article about the loco in Diesel Era, and thought what a neat looking geep that was. I had almost everything on hand to make it, so I pushed the other projects on my bench aside and got it done in time for the Norfolk & Western Historical Society convention in July 2005. Once again thanks for the compliments!

Nice! It's also good to see that I'm not the only one suffering from Multi-Era Dysfunction....

What horn and plow did you're dad use Rudy?

William, The horn is details west 327, that I made a stand for, and the plow is details west 155 which I modified to look like the plow on prototype. If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them.

nice work there Rudy Sr.! How did you take care of the dynamic break section? -specifically the new filter box, which I'm thinking had to be either added or shortened.

Hello A question for Rudy or Rudy sr. I'm about to embark on producing a NS -3, can I ask which Air conditioner unit you used on this model, as I'm having trouble finding one?
Thanks for your time Dave

He appears to use a Details West AH-159. That is what I use on all of my Norfolk Southern units equipped with AC.

This is one of the best, and easiest kitbashes I've seen in a while. It was simple, but good. I recently was looking at a Diesel era which had an article about the GP50/GP38-3 program.

He did a nice job! I have sets of these come through almost everyday between Fort Wayne, IN & Bellevue, OH yard transfer operations. Now how's about a Horsehead slugset?
