how many projects are too many projects ? - while waiting on parts for some of my other projects I have had time to finally start with this Kato N scale SD70ACe which will end up as CR #4176. from Trainworx is an etch kit available for the fans and see thru grills. the shell is prepared now for the etch parts... drilled many (and I mean a lot) of #83 holes... removed all the grills and fans necessary... compared to an 'untouched' shell...

normally I wouldn't have opened an n scale file. I'm glad I did. This is EXCELLENT work. Grills and radiators look stock.

If you hadn't mentioned it was N, I would've thought it was HO. thank you for your kind words, yes these grills really enhance the already well detailed Kato shell. I thought I have to mention it's N scale in the title to keep people away from following this thread... (actually a moderator put a "N" in front of my EJE The proJect thread and so I thought it was the rule)
