KCS 629 www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=90722If you have noticed the horn on KCS 629 was a K5LAR24 but two of the bells are missing. www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=197964Parts List Cannon & Company 1353-Interial Filter Hatch 2101-Small Anticlimber 1103-Short Hood-81 inch 1201-Sub Base 1501-Thinwall Cab 1952-Turbo Hatch Details West 301-Ditch Lights late w/ rounded top Air Horn stand tall 130-Snow Plow-Low Profile (2) 196-Spare Knuckle Bracket Miniatures by Eric H-36 VIA 5 Chime Horn A-1 CN/CP Sinclair Radio Antenna Details Associates Dynamic 48" Flat Top Fans (4) 48" Flat Top Cooling Fans (4) Diesel Headlights-Plye Dual Square Radiator Grille EMD SD45 (2) Microscale 87-942 Diesel-Hoods-Grey Scheme with side logos Kansas City Southern

You know that the BB SD45 has a wide body that is not to scale at all right... The Cannon nose and cab might not fit right on that shell, you would be better off finding a RPP SD45 shell or the new Athearn RTR or even a LifeLike one..... I think you would be really disappointed with the Athearn BB one.....

I was thinking of getting a RRP SD45 or a P2K SD45 to do this project, because the BB SD45 is way off.

If you are upgrading definately get the P2K version. I am working on three P2K's including an Ex. KCS SD45 with all cannon parts. They are very easy to cannonize because most of the parts are removable.

Sorry I haven't replied on this thread. Alot of things have been going on. I have school, my moms best friend died, and she has been sad the whole week. I'm trying to find a cheap P2K SD45 shell or a cheap Kato SD45 shell.

Yeah lol. I have a KCS SD50 its heavy but a smooth runner. I choose to get and P2K SD45 because, its easy to paint and easy to detail.
