Here is my first of a few freelanced railroads, one that is part of a bigger system. The San Francisco & Portland Railroad was a bridge between the California bay area and Portland Oregon. Direct competition for the Northwestern Pacific to Eureka, and the Southern Pacific Cascades route to Oregon, it found a moderately healthy living until its acquisition by the General Pacific in 1973. Major connections in California including the Santa Fe, General Pacific, Salt Lake Southwestern, and in Portland, the Great Northern, Spokane, Portland, & Seattle, and the Great Western.
Please let me know what you think. I'll post the "Empire Map" for you as well.

I like those F unit paint schemes... Thanks, I took inspiration from the early Northern Pacific and Eire Lackawanna for those. I thought with a route along the sea, that a blue would be fitting. Also I forgot to give credit to the sources The F-units are from David J. Stimac paintshop.railfan.net/emd.htmlAnd the SD-38 is from Drawing by Stan Lytle paintshop.railfan.net/emd.html
