Heres another project ive already started to work on. A NS heritage SD70M-2! Although no prototype exists (yet) i thought it would be a fun build. Ill be starting with the Southern unit and if it turns out well and I have a positive responce ill do a couple more. More updates will be up soon.

Man, I would be very nervous stripping an M-2. I have 3 NS M-2's, and I don't think I would have the guts to strip one. They are just so damn perfect. These are by far my favorite locomotive on the market, and on the rails. Hey, good luck on the heritage unit. I saw the drawings, and it looks super cool. Can't wait to see.
P.S. ES44AC should be on it's way to you soon for the conversion to NS ES40DC..

Ive got the paint stripped, trucks and feul tank painted silver, black on the sill, and white on the shell. Im heading out of town and should be back in a week. My decals will be in by then and ill be able to get the black and green on. So far every is going without well without too many major problems! Heres what it should look like when its all said and done.

Really sweet and superb job at imagining what it would look like! One day I want to do a ES44AC in the scheme they did.
