Thanks for the heads up Glenn! I'm going to the Springfield show this Sat. and now I know to keep a look out for these. I wonder how far off they are to production. I'll admit it... I wasn't looking forward to scratchbuilding these. Even now that the example is set by Kevin!
-just looked at the BLMA page & Facebook page. I see that there is the 64' UP ARMM car, so I will 'like' them and then ask if they will be doing the BNSF car?

Their website says they'll be out in the second quarter 2011, I myself want several ARMN's but I hope they come out with the Tropicana cars, I see these cars on the CSX here in Florida, about 6-7 cars on the headend of an intermodel train.
I didn't realize there were 2 different ones I guess the R660 is the bigger one.

Yeah, I saw they were bringing these out and thought about getting one, but I like my model better...its bigger, anyways! I had to wonder what was going on when I could only get one set of decals out of the decal set, but according to the plans, that's the size of it, so I'm thinking there are two different sizes of these cars. One for regular loads, and one size(R660) for the bigger shippers that can fill them. Maybe they will be able to make a model of the R660 as well, who knows. Be interesting to see these when they come ont!

It looks like Tropicana uses these cars, and the designation is R670 for the short 64' version, and R660 for the larger 82' one.
