Guys, this is another project which I've been working on since September. It was originally a Kato ATSF #605 that was turned into a BNSF unit. Items modified: Air hoses; Hi adhesion sideframes (late style); Leds SMD; MU front cable; mirrors. Items repainted: cabin grabs (ATSF red color); steps yellow stripes; MU doors (the red ones); exhaust stack/grilles weathered; uncoupler bars; bell. Decals by Microscale. Added a NCE D13SRP decoder. I'm still working on the air conditiner unit. The details west and railpower ones don't look accurate to #605. Maybe it will be entirely done by myself. This model is not 100% correct, other details could be improved, but I'm satisfied at all. Current images of this unit:

Kato provides the correct sideframes, check it out on katousa website. I've got two pairs from there ($25 plus $9 for international shipping costs) but to another BNSF Heritage I that I'm current modeling. Railpower did those sideframes too but some custom work have to be done once it is for Athearn units, I do not recommend it, once kato's fit perfect!
I used on #605 the railpower sideframes because I had it in my stuff box.

Nice work Daniel. You have the knack for detailing pre-painted units, which is something I find a bit tricky.

Very nice looking model Daniel. You might consider painting the nub on the end of the long handrail on each side, where it overlaps and joins into the cab, red, so that it will blend in better and look smaller.
