It's not 100% correct, the paint lines aren't the cleanest, and it's a dummy, but it DOES pass the 3 foot rule! ;D
It's an old RPP SD60M that I had sitting around, and decals, so I chose to model one. Honestly, I'd need the other 3 to run as a set, but I don't have any more SD70MACs or SD60Ms laying around.
The funny thing, is that the green is regular old Cascade green; it just looks lighter because of the white band.
I hope to have the handrails and last touches done by the end of the holiday break, barring a trip to the delivery room!
Thanks for looking, and Happy Turkey Day!!!

rudy-yeah, Ive always liked the scheme, so it was a pretty easy decision. It was also nice to have all the detail parts in the spares bin, so I can also consider it a cheap build. Thanks Rudy, Rick

Looks great to me. I wouldn't know what the spotting differences are for a 60MAC anyway.
Looks like evilbay doesnt have any railpower SD60M shells up right now.....bummer.

mike- I've been told that it's better to start with a SD70MAC, as the lengths are correct, and all grill work is virtually the same. The main difference is the 'cyclops' cab and nose design, versus the more modern 'quiet cab' of the 70 series. Thanks, Rick

I wish the BN bought more of the 60MAC's but they loved the 60M's too much and the fact that they didn't have to pay for the Oakways hehehe

Oh forgot to ask does the RPP SD60M Shells fit on the Proto 2000 SD60 frame? I got a spare frame I would love to do a BN SD60Mac with.

Thanks Dave! I would assume that with a little modifications, the RPP shell 'could' fit on a P2K? I KNOW FOR A FACT that the shell WILL NOT fit on an Athearn RTR/Genesis frame w/o altering the frame coupler pockets. I had a spare RTR/Genesis SD60M frame; but I wasn't about to "start chopping" if I didn't need to, as I could still use the frame elsewhere. Rick
