I finished off two Canadian national FP-7's, both Athearn. I filled in the lower headlight and the original horn holes, then repainted the yellow on the nose. I added the winter hatch, and the three-chime horn and repainted the roof, rear, pilot and skirts in black (from the original grey) The grabs are all bent .020" wire from detail Associates and painted yellow. I redecalled them using CN SIG's Cab-unit supplement set. In all I spent less than 40$ on the two engines including original purchase price. I'm working on a CN F-3 (proto1000 shell) and a CN F-7 (Bachman plus) next. The F-3 is already factory painted so I'll just be adding details, the F-7 will be a detail and paint.

Thanks all. THe windshields were from the Walthers detail kit (I guess I should have mentioned that too) That kit also comes with pre-bent grabs but they as rather out of scale thickness so I figure it didn't talk much to bend my own. For the F-3 and F-f projects I'll be using Detail Associates detail kit which comes with the grabs, MU hoses, lifting eyes and some NBW castings.
