Hi folks- Here's another project I finished not long ago. It's an Athearn SD70M. I added the usual amount of details to it, such as the following: Details West plow Details West Ditch Lights Details West Horn Detail Associates cut levers Detail Associates sinclair antenna Detail Associates MU Hoses Hi Tech Air hoses I needed to add the rest of the handrails, grab irons, windshield whippers, and I picked up a new Athearn DCC ready board and replaced the original with the new one and then added a NCE 9 Pin decoder to it. Then I finished it up with some heavy chalk weathering to give it that tired look, much like what the original looks like now. This will look good running with the other NYS&W SD70M as borrowed/leased power on the Providence Terminal Railway. Thanks for looking- Matt Attachments:

Does the NWS&W actually own the SD70Ms or are they running them in a deal like they did with csx and the b40-8 units?

They own them, I know they leased some out. Susie isn't the same without Walter. He stopped into my hobby shop once.

The three SD70M's are currently on the New England Central in St. Albans Vermont, stored.
They were using a couple of them in road service, but now are back in storage.
Thanks Matt
