Hi I have removed the kinematics from my Walthers Box Cars and have substituted for this by scale cushion coupler draught gear from DetailWest. In addition Coupler cut bars from Plano, Kadee #58 and Air Line from Detail Associates. Kai

Kai, WOW those really make a huge difference! I can only imagine how much time and money it would take me if I ever got that inspired to refit all mine..Man those pics speak volumes for how much the RTR stuff is lacking.. at least the older stuff. Great work! Paul

Wow, I agree, that is nice looking stuff and copmpletely changes the looks of a car, but I'm with Paul, it would take the lottery and hired help for me to all my stuff :-(
