Hey everyone! I am getting close to applying paint to these units, however, as most in the PA, OH, NY areas know, it has been WAY too humid to do anything! I was really glad how the ice breakers came out, and they ARE retractable and sit flush. I'll post more progress when the humidity settles-down. Plus, I'm waiting on some 'round' SP warning lights. Also, I'm working on a SF Kodachrome'd FP45 for Dale. Thanks for looking! Comments welcome........ Rick www.fourrocksmodelworks.com

Is that icicle breaker a kit, or did you make it from scratch?

Love those early SD's! But could you post slightly bigger photos next time? (eg. 800x640-ish)

Thanks everyone. I'll see what I can do about bigger pix, and getting more of the breakers

Nice, I agree the icebreaker is cool. I've got one on a Milwaukee SD40-2 but its a little different design. How did you make yours?

It's all brass stock; flat and L channel, with some wire. The 45 degree support brackets are C channel styrene. That's about it. Everything was hand-bent and soldered. The 4 main brackets are the same stock tapped for the pins from the main body.
Thanks for looking. I'll keep everyone posted.
