That is one fine looking model!!!! To take a wood kit and make it not look like wood is quite an accomplishment.

Thanks for the kind comments, and coming from you guys it means a lot as I've seen your work.
Espeeaussie: My first name is Meridith, I'm a trainman with the UP in Idaho.
This was my first ambroid kit. I have a few more and plan on working on them, but they are rather time consuming and like to try and tackle other things (power, and such).
I was pleased with the way this one turned out but have always felt it needed some "tags" on it. However, that's still a frontier for me but I will delve into it soon.

Wow that is impressive!!! Photoshop a realistic background not the first pic and I'd swear it was the real thing. Absolutely outstanding weathering job!!!

That is a really well used boxcar! That does look nicely done, That would be a standout in a train with newer stuff in it. Nice job!
