I model a freelanced railroad. HO scale. Mt. Vernon, Tamaroa, & Southern Railroad (Hence the screen name mtsr, the reporting marks). It is a modern era, like the Utah Belt, I always model today. It is a small regional located in southern IL. I grew up around the UP, so our operating practices are simalar to those of the UP. Coal is our main source of revenue, with grain and mixed frieght run throughs coming up behind. I build custom locos for people in the area, and have started a website to advertise/ sell some of my work. I will probably add a page on there with a route map, timetable, roster, photos, ect... www.freewebs.com/midwestrailNo layout of mine own right now, but we do have a local round robin club with a modular layout we use for shows, and it is set up in the basement of one of the members in between events, so I treat that like my layout.
