What does "KRS" stand for? Ask board member Mathew (NSCentral). He'll be the proud owner of these when they're done.

Ok, Since a lot of you are wondering what the letters "KRS" stand for. They stand for " Kentucky Rail Services". Its part of my freelance road Im working on putting together. I had Rudy do these two for me as my skills are not the best at the moment and being on the road makes things a little harder. After watching these go from what they were to what you see now, Its inspired me to do two more, on my own, I just hope I can get them lookin as good as Rudy got these two. So these two are "prototypes" so to speak for my freelance road. If things go to plan I will hopefully obtain two more SD40-2's around the beginning of next month. Keep an eye out on the freelance section as I will be making a post sometime this week about this road in the freelance questions.

Those engines kind of remind me of the Green Bay Western scheme. Looking good Rudy. Glenn

Excellent work Rudy! What brand of class lights did you use? MV Lenses. Also used them for the headlights.

the weathering made these units absolutely killer! Just an idea, would be cool to have an ex CP rail SD B unit in the middle!
