Good job capturing the hard life a previously owned engine.

That's got the look of a unit that takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

The weathering looks really good. Nice job! I've got a few BN C30-7 rent-a-wrecks that I need to finish up. Maybe this will motivate me to get going on them.

Did you drill ot the axle bearings on the side frame and replace with stationnary caps or are the caps connected to the axles for movement when the engine is in motion?

"I did not know you could submit model pictures to rrpicturesarchives."
Well, the rules say your are not suppose too... but I suspect that its just too much trouble to police offenders.
Personally, it is a real pain when you are looking for prototype photos to find, instead, a bunch of model photos. It is just as easy to post them right here and it would really be a bit better of a place because your modeling can be discussed, good or bad. Posting them to RRPA, unless you share the links, will loose them in a multitude of other, more appropriate photos... posting them here folks who may be looking for ideas would be able to find your work and learn from it.
