In reality, having a dummy in a consist makes perfect sense. Wouldn't be the first GE to come back from a run "dead-in-consist" for whatever reason. I've thought of doing something similar to model a unit that is offline due to being out of fuel. Plus, makes speed matching easy too...
I like how your work on the cab turned out. I've often wished they would do the four window cab, as you see a lot more of those around than the three window style. Overall the unit looks a little on the dirty side, but not a rust bucket by any means. I like it!

@ Diesel- Yeah those are the brass 'gaskets' that come w/ the DW kit. @ Kevin - It was a little dirtier than I wanted to make her, but my friend found a picture of this same unit looking just as dirty, and that was what he wanted. The majority of his fleet is pretty clean, so I think he wanted add a little variety to the consist.
