Great to hear that now you have to decide what colors and paint job.....no rush though,just play with it for awhile and you will know when you have the right scheme,ask Sarge he will tell you as he just got a new paint scheme .................

I know I'm gonna do some locos up in actual rr colors like Rock Island, MKT, SOU, ACL etc

I've desided on a paint scheme and here its .................... this one will be for the officer train it will have 2 matching b unita and another a unit

Looks good,now you know they are going to get real dirty like a SOO LINE engine being mostly white,,,but it does look striking...

right now they look like the old NKP passenger locomotives I might do a few like that and a few in the NKP black and WAB blue and a few others in my favorite roads panit

I agree with Athony, I think the white on the carbody would look striking, but you could look at the silver as well. The old D&H scheme always looked good to me. I definatley would not do the frame and trucks in white though.

That looks awesome! It'll probably look even more striking with a yellow frame stripe. I think silver trucks would help a lot too , though in real life silver trucks becomes more or less black after a few years of heavy duty service. Also, a hint with MS paint. Select the eraser tool, then select white(or the color you want to replace) as the foreground color, the color you want as the back ground color, and right click and drag around. Makes painting a hella of a lot easier because you won't have to use the paint bucket a gazillion times.
