I'm building a freelance rr in HO scale and I call it the Carolina Belt RR it was "started" in 1940 and it just bought the Virgina Belt RR in 2005 I need help coming up with a paint scheme for The Carolina Belt (early and new) and a scheme for the Virgina Belt (early and new) any ideas are welcome and the motive fleet is pretty up to date the oldest locomotive being a GP30-2 (its rebuilt with dash 2 eletronics rebuilt in 1992)

Well we need to know the colors you are using and if there is any paint scheme you like out in the real world or if you even have an idea at all???

i want the Carolina Blet locomotives blue and white with like a Southern look and the Wirgina belt with like a warbonnett look in any two colors

how do you guys color the locomotives ns91, You can download drawings from a couple of web sites, I tend to use paintshop.railfan.net for most of the ones I use. I take the drawing into MS Paint and start painting. It's really that simple. Dan

Ok I have done one in the ACL scheme and I think it looks good.......... Now you can center the silver strip, I just did it like that because I did not want to move the lettering.......I think I would like to change my vote....

I've desided to model NS and just have The Carolina Belt remaned into Carolina Locomotive leasing co and use CLLX as my reporting marks
