Looking good, this is going to look good, esp with the string of Trinity cars you are getting.

I like that unit, that looks really nice. I have to wonder why they painted the roof silver, though. Right where all the soot will land and goober it up quick.
One other question, was the black stripe along the side one large decal? How easy was it to position that thing? I'm looking at doing one of those GP402W / GP22ECO rebuilds, and I'm debating if I want to do the full decal or just tape and paint that. Seems like it would be hard to get wiggled down around all the details without tearing it up.
Sounds like the paint went down nicely, what did you use? It looks good from here.

the Black and Red stripe was one decal and fairly easy to use. I've done the GP22ECO-M and GPTEC-B,and an SD22ECO but yet to Decal em yet. www.microscale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=87-1289&Category_Code=KCS&Product_Count=26thats the Decal Set. As for the Colors I know for the Red I used an mixe of the Testors Red and the Floquil Signal Red. the Yellow I cant remember what I used for it. As for the Silver Top on the KCS and KCSM SD70ACes,ES44ACs,and ECOs ,and the PCRC SD60s and etc I like it. I guess Mike wanted to moderize the scheme up alittle as back in the 50s,and 60s the units didnt have the silver top,but if i'm correct some of the units had the top silver at the rear of the locomotive to match the passenger cars as they have silver tops. Relocated rear headlight
