Very Nice, Dan! The weathering is really spot-on, especially the subtle rusting showing through the finish.

Very nice! Love those SOO units, details look great too! And I agree, like the rusting, makes it look all that much better!

wow Dan, that's just dandy! This is the kind of comment that makes me feel WAY too young for this hobby.... ;D Dan, great work! You really nailed the "why would you EVER paint a locomotive white?" color and weathering!

You really nailed the "why would you EVER paint a locomotive white?" color and weathering! Haha Rudy, the great thing about the hobby is one locomotive can get comments from "Dandy", to "DaBomb", to "tight". But all in all we love what we love. Great subtle weathering, I ususally want to go overly grimey, you have inspired me for some white KCS locos and that says alot as I love me some blondes and redheads both in F units, so that means I may have to get either a GP30, GP40, or a SD40. I wanted the GP30 but in red, so now I may have to change my name from KCS1967 to KCS1968,,,, hmmmmm.....

The striping on the nose is what impresses me the most.
