Working on one of these, series CGW 10101-10120, from a Details West 700 series insulated boxcar.
Pics to follow, after I get my 11 month old son back to bed (3 more teeth coming in....)

Definitely a labor of love, it is one thing to kill our selves on Diesels, but to put that work into rolling stock, that is all love, great work.

This one was relatively straightforward - I basically removed the old plug doors from the Details West model and replaced them with McKean/Accurail plug doors from my parts box and added a fishbelly side sill from strip styrene. (I did "cheat" in using the stock 10' door and 10' door opening on the base model vs. the 10'6" door on the prototype...)

My wife signed me up as a present awhile back, but I never found the time to get down there and I didn't keep my membership current. I would definitely rejoin if I had more time.

Finished painting a little over a week ago, still needs decals: Also some overspray on the roof, which will probably be covered up by grime after weathering to a 1980's apperance:
