Hi Group, I recently [mostly] completed a modified undec Genesis 45-2, depicted as CSX 8969 (ex-SBD 8969, 3611; nee-CRR 3611; built 11/72, Serial/Frame # 7382-5) circa 1992. www.contrailroads.com/8969/The model has a Cannon cab and roof components. It's custom painted, decaled, and weathered and has typical "super" detailing, although I slacked a little on the underframe as compared to my last completed project, ex-SCL GP40 6697. At some point I will add write a few more details of some of the work I did on my webpage and copy it here. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. (I've yet to add sander brackets to the inboard ends of the trucks and have yet to finalize my preferred headlight installation, so the headlights are not complete. I will also be adding the cab interior once the headlights and decoder installation is complete.)

The SD50 is awesome also...... What do you use for the chain on the front handrails and what do you use to mount them on the handrails, same as with the chain on the front truck from the frame to the spring to the brake cyclinder?

Those are hands down some of the best looking CSX units I have ever seen. You're modeling one of the eras and locations that I'm interested in modeling. I look forward to seeing updates.
