I'm not 100% sure what it is for, but I know the C40-8s and -9s have em. I need to look that up. As far as handrails, I'm waiting on the stanchions and wire to get here so I can make them.

Grayson, looking good so far! The box is the IFC equipment box which is inside the wide cab on those units. IFC stands for Intergrated Function Computer controls.

She's been primered, and I finished installing ALL details. Ordered paint and decals Sunday so I should get her painted by this weekend. One question with the scalecoat II paint....I'm planning on "baking" the paint once I get the black on for 2 hours at 175 degrees...this won't melt any of the small plastic parts or de-bond glue will it?
