Hi guys! This is a model of an old electrification service boxcar. The prototype was made in England, in the first years of the 20th century and was used as a conventional freight car during steam era. With the advent of electrification, it was converted to be used on MOW trains at Estrada de Ferro Santos a Jundiaí (Santos to Jundiaí Railroad) a railroad that has been serving the main export corridor in Southeast region of Brazil since the 19th century. It connects Santos harbour to Jundiaí, in São Paulo state. Electrification was erradicated in the 1990s, except for a short part of rack railway. The base model is a Frateschi old time boxcar. I hope you enjoy the model and this piece of history of my country. The prototype at the beginning of the 20th century. The prototype after modification. The blueprint. The base model. Delimiting windows. Windows opened. Before dullcoat. Wheatered trucks. The puzzle. The interior. The model. The model. The trophy.

Nice job on it, I know its tough to get clean cuts. I like the car too, and those trucks are well done.
