I’ve added some new pics to my PBase page of some operating sessions that I had in conjunction with an Op/Sig meet that we had in Tulsa, OK on the last weekend of Sept. You may even see a forum member or two in there. The newest pics are on the bottom of the page. www.pbase.com/sammy1974/op_sessions

I was just quite happy that I had a full crew for both sessions.
All the folks on the Friday session were out of towners and the Sunday morning session had 2 guys from Kansas and the rest were filled from a pool of Tulsa folks. When I get a full crew of operations seasoned folks, it's just unreal the number of trains that can be ran. That's the real beauty of a restaging layout - turn em' and burn em'! It gives fits to the road switcher crews though!

Thanks again, guys!
Greg, I'm pretty sure that Perry would have been happy sitting in the siding for a few more trains! He and Wayne drew a local train out of Amarillo that took about a hour and a half to switch out while staying out of the way of all the hotshots the dispatcher kept running!
BTW : I just sent my pre registration for the Nov meet out in the mail today.

What Hoover didn't leave his mark on this page and Perry operating?!?? Have no fear I will get Glenn down there to operate! Glad I came across your op-session photos Sammy!
p.s. The next time you see James Petersen call him "Little Pete".

Paul, I'll look forward to you guys making it down one of these days - it'll be a good time! Are you still in Guam working on the 135's?
B&O, It's not that bad - everyone needs to spend some time in the siding doing a little railfanning!

Greg,
I think they are skipping this year and shooting for spring of 2011 instead. I guess there are way too many other scheduling confilcts for this fall.
