I'd say the 1st one (shoving platform) is losely based off a Southern Xcab. The 2nd (Op RedBlock) is based on a L&N xfer cab.

Hello folks, I didn't mean to tuck and run or dodge your questions. But the long and short is, I've been working my ass off! and... I for got my slog in info... But I think I'm back to watch the forum and see others work. No real time for modeling sadly. But the is based on the old Southern transfer cabooses. As might can see I got a little board... I used a standard old blue box Athern 50' flat car and a old blue box 40' box car which we all have had at some point! After cutting the section of the box car and keeping one end, I then cut it in half down the middle of the roof line to narrow down the body. Much as Southern did. I don't have any measurements handy at the present time. Smokey Valley Alco hand rail post were used. For the wood flooring, I used some Balsa material I had laying around. Now that I think about it, I wish I had lettered it for Southern and really put a rusted weather job on it... maybe I'll do another. It was a quicky job... Nothing fancy.
