Which horn is this on the ex NW GP40? www.nslocos.com/ns1332.htmlEverytime I think I pick the right one I dont. It looks like 2 forward (or rev depends on which railroad I guess) and one reverse

Stan, that looks to be a Leslie RS-5T-F. This was the N&W's standard air hron for its second generation power. You need Details West #191.

LOL, Ive probably spent WAAAAAAAYYYY too much time researching all this stuff. Plus, i have about memorized the Details West catalog, i still keep one handy, though. =]

Thanks for all the info. On top of the large variety of horns is the fact that equipment gets changed out over time and makes for some very interesting combinations.
