These are 2 versions of Procor styrene monomer tanks built from Walthers 23k. New elliptical ends were added (my own casting), saddles converted to non-insulated, all walkways replaced with Plano mesh, custom painted very light grey with Mainline decals.

Those look REAL Good! The extra work paid off nicely and the weathering is spot on!

Here are some shots of the ends. I used the original bolster/saddle from the kit but modified it by putting a piece of sandpaper to sand the saddle to fit. Remove the molded on covers from the tank and cover with a piece of .010 styrene with ends rounded to simulate the reinfocing plate.
