Thanks Robert. Just Floquil Weathered Black and Polyscale Aged White. But actually the bottom color is incorrect for this version of the lease engine fleet, it is going to be silver instead. The original "first" engine done up for the lease fleet will have that color for the bottom. Thats in the works right now.
Ryan there are two different adhesion promoters I use.
First is the Microscale MicroPrep which I use for small applications that I need to brush on instead of spraying. I love this product from Mircoscale but at its cost I wouldnt use the spray pump that comes with the bottle, the material seems to evaporate very quickly when the top is on the bottle. So I just keep the regular cap on it. So like when you have an engine with plastic handrails that are on the engine still and you dont want to remove them but you only want to paint the end railings say white, this is where I use the MicroPrep.
Second one I use is Dupli-Color Adheasion Promoter that I picked up at NAPA Atuo Parts store, I think it was 7 dollors for the big spray bottle. I am sure any adhesion promoter from any store, if the brand is not the same as I have, will work this is just the one I found at my closet store. Works great so far. I am doing a pair of Georgia Road SD70M's and I have the handrails still on the sprue and I sprayed the promoter on first and then went back and sprayed the paint 10 minutes later. No problem so far with flacking and I have hit them by accident and made them flex.
Those are what work for me but I am sure there are other ways also.
