Looking good!Is it a B unit only or are the windows just masked off for paint?

On the Athearn SD50/60/60M I leave the side windows (glue them shut with Krystal Klear to keep them closed) in and just mask over them with a piece of measured tape.I learned the hard way on both this engine and my UB SD50 about not masking and priming then not being able to remove the primer...So mask first...............

Looks nice, I especially like the truck detailing with the brake lines and sand lines. One questions though, is that an SD40-2B in the background? What is the plan on that?

That is a SD40-2B in the background,it is going to be a Kansas Pacific engine (which is my private road)... I am kinda following the BNSF SD40-2B 7501 build... I have an article that I am following from a magazine....

I've always liked the gritty, imposing look of the SD50 and SD60's...

Nice unit. Looks like I'll have to scrap out my SRCX SW1500, being that you use those marks. Had in mind a rebuild shop like Larry's Truck Electric. Springfield Rebuild Center was what it was going to be. Hopes dashed again.
