Working on the MT4 and a MT6 right now I am gathering info on these I plan to do both but with my work schedule I cant seem to find the time to start working on the chassis for them

Interesting model, I agree, rebuilt Geeps are cool. These remind me of the MILW GP9's that where rebuilt into what the MILW called GP20's. They looked a lot like your model. Cool model!

Nice job Mike. I know this post was started a while ago, but I've only been on here a week and am just starting to go through all the sections. I also agree. Rebuilds are fun because they're so odd. They can lead to quite a wild goose chase of a parts list to aquire. But as far as I know there's no gp 5, 10, no SD18, 20 ect. on the market, so they're that much more rewarding.

Hmm, SD18, that one is a bit of a challenge. Good luck on that one...
Make sure you post some notes about what you use to construct the model please.

This unit would be perfect to make into a Nittany and Bald Eagle GP10. Growing up and watching them switch Westvaco Paper in Tyrone makes me want to do one of these someday!
