THe picture quality is fine. The focus of the photo is in the wrong place though. Your camera is focusing on the far side of the engine and not the close side. Using manual focues would fix that!

I agree with SMOKE about the pictures...When you get your new fancy camera please post some updated pictures! The other thing I would suggest is to get some good photo editing software. This will help with color/Balance and sharpness. You still need to take good pictures you can just turn good pictures to great pictures...

Despite the photo problems, it looks like an Excellent Job on the #2251! Please post more when you can.

Looks great. Only thing I might suggest would be to remove the builders plate as I am sure that by the time this unit was sold to CIND it was long gone. That might make look just a hair better but otherwise great job.

Great looking unit. For whatever reason, I've always liked engines with bland paint schemes like that.

Now, Boys, Play Pretty!! Besides, as far as one-color paint jobs go, the ICG did the worst, with its all-orange scheme (which is what the bottom of a barrel actually looks like)!

That orange ICG kinda looks like DTI but with a plainer logo.......

I like it! Simple yet really draws your attention to it with the patched reporting marks and all. I do agree, I would remove the builders plate on it as those seem to disappear rather quickly Do the ditch lights work? Keep us posted on your work...

Andrew, i went ahead and removed the builders plate. The ditch lights dont work, but I am on a working ditch lights kick, and am going to convert them with the nano LEDs.

Cool! Just to make sure I wasn't telling you to remove a detail that was actually there, I went out and found a few pix of it and it did not have it. Lighted ditch lights look awesome, that's why I was asking if you added them. Since you're doing em, post a few pix after you're done for us to see.
