Ok so my first "project" here isn't too exciting, but I figured it's better than nothing. I am a CP modeler, but I always liked CSX, so I got this C40-8W in YN3. So a little research on the prototype shows that the prototype 7337 isn't too lucky. Fire damage, air conditioning unit replaced with one painted in YN2, and the horn was replaced, and ditchlights were in a different location than the Atlas model. davelaird.us/images/MyPhotos/CSX7337.jpgwww.railpictures.net/images/d1/4/2/3/3423.1072986360.jpgI thought that the easiest solution was just change the number, and I found 7387. Everything matches the Atlas model except the plow and the number. www.railpictures.net/images/d1/2/1/1/1211.1217539667.jpgHere are pictures before starting: Front Rear Front Detail (Missing MU hoses, change plow) Cab Detail (Missing wind deflector/mirror) Should start this little detailing project this week. Stay tuned!
