Good Evening everyone! I have been busy as of late, but have finally got some projects going. (is it better to keep them all in one thread or different threads for each project ;-P ) All together i'm actively working on the Tichy Boom car, a 40' ISO Tank container, MoW Office, Display/test track, and a Univan Camp Car as the start to my work train. Future projects are planned as, but not limited to, a CF7 build, and a Alco C415 build. I digress though, I started the Tichy kit, and want to put a disclaimer out there too, this is my first kit so we shall see how i get along. I'm not sure how detailed I'm going to get but my goal is super detailed at least. So here we go. There isn't much to show for the first update I'm basically done with the first step and held off while i wait for some parts. I got the deck, sills, sideframes, and stake pockets in so far. and aside from some messy gluing its looking pretty good. Setup and start of the project:
Deck, Sideframes, Stakepockets, and Sills In place. Enjoy!

The Tichy kits fall together just make sure you use liquid cement and like the instructions say, if it doesn't fit you're doing it wrong.

We are going to move this thread to the "Other Stuff" folder so we can follow your "other than diesel" projects on that page. Keep us posted on your progress!!

Thanks all! Yes, it does fit together well - even the little pins on the stake pockets did too! Only thing I didn't know if I did right was the car ends. I mixed up the parts numbers but I think I got them right lol!
I'm going to try and keep one project per thread as much as I can (for everyone's sanity rofl!) And thanks I didn't know that that section was for diesels only I had seen other projects and thought it was for whatever was on our workbench lol!

Thanks! I hope to be able to get more soon, I'm just waiting for some things. I did get some Kadee Couples and found some a-line grab-ons at the local hobby shop but they weren't the exact one i was thinking of using so I'm waiting for those at the moment. I also am saving up for some Athearn Trucks and those magnetic airlines from PWRS.CA and that about sums the progress up this far. Been almost a month since ive gotten to work on it but work and ADD don't help any rofl. Now its getting colder which means ill have to move my workbench someplace where glue will actually dry too.
