Hello from Kentucky ,
After a 16 year sabbatical from model railroading I have decided it was time to dig out my old Athearn F-7 A&B units , Roundhouse RS-3 , Athearn GP-9 "chop nose" and Proto BL-2's (4). Given my roster you can tell they are vintage . Save the BL-2's and chop nose GP-9 the rest need super detailing . I have no intention of going to DCC . The Soo Line was of great interest to me before I moved back from Michigan . I had taken some Western Maryland motive power for trade on my Soo power prior to moving . With that in mind and all the motive power I have the Western Maryland seems the most logical line for me to model .
When I was in Michigan I was able to photograph a lot of Soo , Conrail , CN , NS and CP diesels , So feel free to inbox me if you are looking for some pictures . I have no problem sending them to a good home .
Respectfully , Fred

If you haven't checked out the offerings at your LHS lately, let me just say that manufacturers have made great strides in 16 years. Huge bang for the buck in my opinion...
