Hello all, I just joined up and figured I'd give a proper introduction, anyhow as my user name implies I am a fan of the Espee and I was born and raised in Oxnard CA, my real name is Scott I've been living in Illinois for the last 22+ years and I've been employed by Union Pacific in the track Dept. the last 17 years, my primary modeling focus is SP in the 80's, I loved the Kodachrome era, besides being an SP nut, I'm also a huge fan of Conrail, my modeling was on hold for quite some time and I recently got back up and running, right now I do a lot of super detailing to Athearn ready to roll stuff, but I have some old kitbashes that I've unearthed to hopefully finish, I have a large collection of books on SP, I also have a ton of books on motive power of various railroads, traction, and some foreign stuff, I like oddball locomotives, and I have a thing for Australian trains, I've been a member of a couple different forums over the years, the most recent being the SPMS, which unfortunately no longer exists, anyhow enough rambling, I look forward to interacting with other modelers and sharing my work and ideas, Thanks for having me

That area is my old stomping grounds. I worked on BN out of Aurora, so caught Rochelle jobs. Later out of Galesburg, so Peoria was a frequent destination.
