Thanks to Artur's cabs, here is the making of this minor conversion: The targets. Road numbers are originals, but had to change #2514 to America scheme decals. Both"s rear lights will also require a minor modification. Ditch lights / DC conversion and sound were already made long ago. Those are good track runners and a cheap purchase. I'm glad I kept them, although I prefer brass locos now. www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1818469Far from proto... Targets Detailed cab. Now missing decals and the matte black roof and hood. S

I believe Artur made the casting, but he used to tell me where to find them, but I cannot recall. They sold for 25$ each back then (more than a year ago).
I'm almost done with this project. I just did the weathering and it is now missing cab road numbers (waiting until the next custom decal sheet I will make) and the Sinclair antennas. I'll post pictures in a couple days.
I did all the brass grab irons, truck details, and even added had brake chains to 2514. Look cool. I'm satisfied with those as they will be my club consist workhorses. 2514 has tsunami sound, and 2518 only DCC &l lights.

Gee wiz you remind me that I am being behind with pictures feeding the Forum. I finished these units three weeks ago but haven't taken pictures yet. I have detailed the trucks, replaced the horns with brass ones as they got broken in the process of flipping the locos upside down (even on a thick towel piece as I usually do; my main argument to being a brass fan, not to mention the forever falling plastic handrails). Pretty satisfied with the weathering too. They are my favorite Club workhorses now. 2014 has Tsunami sound, 2018 has only Digitrax 126 DCC no sound, as I am using them together. One sunny day around noon, I should make an outdoor session with 2514/2518, the CN 274 slug, CP 4524 GP40x (almost complete, just need to paint handrails in white), and two of my current projects: CN 2108/2111 Dash-8 40Cs (both AJIN custom paint jobs and DCC conversion; not too much detailing except a few details as antennas and ditch lights, hence why I haven't posted here). Now you know why I am holding on to your castings of the radiator shutters. S.
