Gentlemen, here is the next project awaiting completion. Right now I am waiting for the USPS to deliver the pilot buffer plates so I can complete construction of this model and move it to the paint booth. For those of you planning to attend the Atlanta RPM meet next month, this will be the subject of my clinic. Bob

What all did you replace below the frame rails?

What all did you replace below the frame rails? I had Brian Banna mill the frame so I could use the fuel tank from a P2K GP30 which is so very close to being the correct size and shape for this GP35. I then added a sheet of .020" styrene to the sides of the frame and then cemented DA air reservoirs to the plastic sheet .010" above the fuel tank. I added air reservoir detail parts from DW and then extended the area below the fuel filler with styrene. I still need to replace the pilot buffer plate after I remove the horrible looking Kato buffer plate. More photos soon. Bob

Looks great! Who's GP35 did you use? If memory serves me correctly this is one of the former Savannah and Atlanta units that was transferred to CofG ownership.

Nicely done, Bob. You continue to turn out great looking engines. I'm not a Southern guy but I like this engine.

Bob~
I always liked the units that rode on different builders trucks, the high hood makes it all that much better. Excellent work!
Sincerely, PVRR2647
