Amazing work as usual! I always like seeing the pre-paint model photos, the attention to detail is fantastic.

What did you use for the rivets you added?

Adam, they came from an Athearn snow plow. I cut them off with a #17 blade, and apply with a #11.
Thanks, Bobby

Wow Bobby...another outstanding build! It's awesome to see models from you and no matter what type you model you kill it. Your detail work is astounding.

Thanks Nick. I'm always flatered when you have such kind things to say. My side view of the car got picked to a group on flicker that you have to be invited to join. I'm not even a bad photographer much less a fair one. But, I've had over 6,000 hits on the photo while the others in the set have in the one hundreds. It gives you a weird feeling. I use my wife's I phone 5 and not a high dollar camera. Oh well, onward and upwards.
Regards, Bobby

Definitely beautiful work!!! I remember these cars very well, in both the black and the green lettering. Always was a bit of a treat to see the green lettering being used on these cars... and let's not forget those in Maintenance of Way service bedecked in black with gold lettering.

Excellent Work, Bobby, you are a true craftsman (applying the rivet detail as you describe is truly hard-core model building)!!

I love it Bobby, my kind of build! Meticulous, tedious, and totally worth the efforts. Another work of art my friend!
