Great looking engine. It's a classic and you made it come alive in good fashion. I've just converted a AC44 to DCC&sound and added ditch lights. Now it's waiting for a four windows cab .... Stephane

Artur~
Your builds and rebuilds in this case are first rate, you (and several other members) continually raise the bar with your work. You are a true Craftsman. I agree with Sean you should call Efram, but not collect! Keep up the great work.

question about this build. Which SD60 drive is needed for the kaslo kit? I just picked one up and it will be a while before I start it, but i would like to find a drive for it as cheap as possible. Also are the molded on details that bad that i should get cannon parts to replace them?

Also are the molded on details that bad that i should get cannon parts to replace them? I used the Proto SD60 drive. The parts supplied are not bad but cannon fans are probably the best ones out.

Remember that SD60s are Q fan equipped, which cannon has not produced. Athearn/Proto fans probably would look better than the Kaslo fans.
Athearn and Proto drives both can work. Remember that the SD50 drive is the same for each brand and are equally useable.
