I'm not a Seaboard modeller Vince, so I can't really help you out with a specific colour but I hope someone can. I'm sure somebody on here has painted a Seaboard engine before.
What I will often do though it take a factory model with me to the hobby shop and start comparing its paint to the test strips mounted on the paint racks. That's how I came across my quick and dirty sub for CN red.
Good luck.

thanks in advance Vince, take a look at this Seaboard System GP16 and see if you like this shade of gray. I mixed Model Master French Dark Gray 65% along with Floquil Dark Blue 35% to get this shade of Gray. If you think it's too light, go a bit more on the Dark Blue and less on the French Gray or vice versa. At least you have a good place to start. Bob

Very Nice Bob!
Here's another excerpt from Warren Calloway's 1986 RMC article:
2 parts SP Lark Dk grey 1 part EL Grey 8 to 10 drops of DH or GTW blue to 1 oz of mixed grey
