Scale Test Car in HO. Model started out as a Roundhouse ore hopper kit. All the grab irons and most of the car ends were removed and rebuilt with styrene/wire grabs. The addition/top of the car was made from styrene and the roofwalk was pillaged from a boxcar. Finally, the car was painted CN Morency Orange and decalled with a mix of Microscale and older Walther's waterslide decals. The prototype: www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Ffreight.railfan.ca%2Fcn%2Fcn52286.jpg&h=RAQHnZ7aYAlso heavily referenced a Cliff Holder build...now in the hands of Luc Nolan.

Didn't take you long to find this one.
I was waiting for someone to comment on that...I know one guy who keeps nagging at me to finish the "Charlie Van" that appears in all my photos and another who wants me to take down "the list" that I've finished everything on.
Right now I'm just tiding up some loose ends before Christmas so that's what's going on. A lot of it is leftover trucks/chassis from those RSC-13's that will be going into some 36 and 3800's shortly. Now that this car's done, I've got four woodchip hoppers to finish and then its onto the real projects this winter - finishing off the other RSC-13, building a trio of RSC-14's and finishing off four more RS-18's.

It looks impressive but most of it is parts for the -18's and -14's believe it or not.

Outstanding work! Believe it or not, I clean my work bench before and after each build.

Outstanding work! Believe it or not, I clean my work bench before and after each build. Regards, Bobby Bobby, I think you're lost. There's no tank cars here. I've been trying to clean it as you describe however I tend to work on up to ten builds at a time due to waiting on parts or changing interests. Thanks for the compliment.
