Hi everyone:
I working with a premier HO model manufacturer to produce an Alco C415 switcher . We are off to measure the Buffalo Southern unit next week and record the Burlington Junction units for the sound decoders. We need roof shots to verify differences in roof details. We also need info on the exhaust stack placement and any replacents. We are also need to verify the wheel base on the Hi Ad Truck. I know there is one in the state of Washington on display. We have drawings but they can be very different from what was actually build. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Roger,
Great project!
A friend of mine once had access to the Challis Western units, which rode on Hi-Ad trucks. 9'-4" is the wheelbase of the truck.
Good Luck! Brian

Hi List member Rudy Garbely has taken some great detail photos of the MonCon unit at Strasburg. It has the low profile cab, but does ride on Hi-Ad trucks. Rudy may have some more detail info for you. He has roof shots of this unit as well, but I don't know if he has dimensions. Cheers Steve

You may not need to do anything. Bowser has announced that they started their C415 project. They are in the research stage.

Any new information from Bowser or the other possible manufacturer on a possible delivery date for these units?

Lee said he will measure up an actual unit in Buffalo in the spring...given their dumping of snow, it'll be awhile.
So I would estimate Early 2017.
