Guys, After spending the last 5 years working full time running the train dept at a local hobby shop, I was let go for economic reasons. Working full time didn't leave a lot of time or energy for actually getting my own projects done. So as I look for other work, I've spent time cleaning off the work bench and organizing projects. And my method for sorting projects and organizing them. Each box holds a shell assembly, detail parts and decals for a particular engine project. And the cupboard that holds most of my paint, was a mess, now neatly organized by type/brand So hopefully now being more organized will spur some progress on some languishing projects. Bob Teusink

Great pics, but if you're anything like the rest of us it won't stay organized for long. ;D

Randy's right. The busier I get, the messier it is. I even thought about doing some "before" and "after" shots of my space when I cleaned up, but I never got past the "before" stage before I started something else! Good Luck ;D

LOL, isn't that the truth. Once work starts its all a mess.... I can't count how many times I've "ORGANIZED MY WORKBENCH" only to see it get effectively killed by doing work. One project, its ok....add a second, its a tad worse, third project and well, GOOD LUCK FINDING ANYTHING.
I finally bought some of those desktop organizer drawers (they are like 3 or 4 drawer plastic units) they work wonders. I start a project and all the parts go there. Works well...

Bob,
Nice looking workbench... now, set your pathetic backside into that chair, and get something accomplished... I really cannot remember the last time you actually finished something. How about the D&TSL GP7? Wright Trak caboose, or any of the other variouos projects you've started, but not yet finished. as they say "Get er done!"
Brian ;-)
