I need some help finding something to use as handrail stanchions on MT-4 and MT-6 slugs built from Alco RS11, RSD12, and RSD15 cores. I found Smokey Valley part# SMV-45 handrail kit-fits Atlas, and also SMV-117 Stanchions with braces,,, these descriptions are vague and I can't find any pictures of them. Can anyone tell me which of these is what I need?

Make them yourself, way easier and much cheaper..... here's a like to an RS36 that shows how to make the stanchions, this method is my personal favorite... www.cnwhs.org/articles/1121826596.pdf

On a number of slugs that I have made, I used the plastic factory handrail sets. Cut off all the railings to net you individual stanchions, then drill a small hole in the top of the stanchion and custom bend new railings from 0.012" or 0.010" brass wire.
